About BusBuddy

BusBuddy is a mobile application that provides a reliable companion for bus travel. It is designed to make the bus travel experience more convenient and efficient for students, teachers, and staff. The application offers a range of features including a profile-based system, QR-based ticket system, automated ticket scanning, route time calendar, one-tap bus trip management for drivers, real-time bus tracking, feedback system, and requisition system. Whether planning a daily commute or managing large-scale transport logistics, BusBuddy ensures coordination. With intuitive design and robust functionality, it elevates the way users interact with public transportation.

Profile Based System

Separate profile for every students, teachers and staffs.

Qr based ticket system

Students can buy tickets which can be accessed by qr code and scanned by the bus driver. Also there is a feature to access the ticket offline.

Automated Ticket Scanning

Bus driver can scan the qr code of the ticket and the system will automatically verify the ticket.

Route Time Calendar

Users can see the scheduled route on a map based on selective filtering of the bus route and time.

One Tap Bus Trip Management for drivers

Drivers can start and end the trip with just one tap.

Real Time Bus Tracking

Users can track the bus in real time on the map based on specific bus route. Also real time notification is sent to the users when the bus is near to the bus stop.

Feedback System

Users can give feedback to the bus driver and the bus service. Also responses to the feedback from authorities can be seen by user.

Requisition System

Teachers can request for bus service for their students. Also the request can be approved or rejected by the authorities, which can be seen by the teacher.

Deployment Status

We are excited to announce that BusBuddy is currently under deployment at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). The application is being integrated into the campus transportation system, providing students, teachers, and staff with an enhanced bus travel experience.
